Welcome to the Heart of Wisconsin Pickleball Association (HOWPA)!

Our Mission

The Pickleball community in Central Wisconsin is truly one of a kind. At HOWPA, our mission is simple:
Grow the sport. Build community. Create opportunities to play.

We organize open play, develop new places to play, support local facilities, host leagues and tournaments, and bring players together of all ages and skill levels.

Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned player — you’re welcome here.

What We Do

  • Organize leagues, tournaments, clinics, and social events
  • Advocate for more indoor and outdoor facilities
  • Fundraise for court improvements & new construction
  • Support beginners with lessons and loan equipment
  • Provide players “skills and drills” sessions to practice
  • Strengthen and unify the local pickleball community
